One million clinical tasks
Sometime last month, a clinician created the millionth clinical task in Cortex.
A task is a small thing: chase a scan, review a result, see a patient before discharge. Before Cortex, each one was a page with no reply, a phone call that interrupted someone mid-procedure, or a note on a list in someone’s pocket. Now each has an owner, a status, a patient, and a discussion thread attached, which is why those million tasks travelled with two million comments between the clinicians doing the work.
Alongside them: more than eight million structured clinical documents, every one coded and machine-readable from the moment it was signed.
We didn’t set out to build a numbers page. The volume is what a platform looks like when clinicians choose to use it.
